Timeliness makes great impressions and wearing a watch gets you half way there! I'm a huge fan of sleek watches and the Daniel Wellington line does classic just right. I was ecstatic to receive to this beautiful Sheffield Lady watch with rose gold face and black leather straps and couldn't wait to incorporate it into my daily wardrobe. Business or casual, this beauty is a staple that compliments any look. As strange as it sounds, this is a timepiece that's truly timeless!
Looking to invest in one of these beauties? DW is generously offering 15% off to all of my readers with code "closetfullofnothing" until September 15th so you can get your hands on one through their site http://www.danielwellington.com/! Happy Shopping!

Kate Spade "Madison Ave" top, Jacob pants, Valentino rockstud shoes
Just before J and I left Vancouver, we hosted a party to celebrate our engagement with family and friends. The intimate gathering also gave us a chance to say goodbye to everyone. We had amazing homemade food prepared by my future mother-in-law, an ombré cake and custom engagement ring cookies by Sweet Bake Shop! Everything was French themed (since I said Oui in Paris) and the colours were kept simply: blue and white with a hint of silver. My lovely wedding planner Nargess (Fleur de Lis Events) also came by to meet the family and brought along amazing macarons from Soirette. Now that the party's over, the one year countdown to our summer 2015 begins!

Chapters is my go-to place for books, gifts and stationery. I must admit that I especially love shopping there during the holidays. Following last year's great event, this year's Indigo holiday preview, which took place at the gorgeous Rosewood suite at Hotel Georgia, was even more amazing. From great kitchen and glassware for entertaining to fun stationery and cozy winter accessories, there were a ton of unique gift ideas. I'm already making a list of must-haves to purchase for our new home come November 3rd! Be sure to check it out then!

Zara dress, Christian Louboutin pumps, Chanel bag, Kate Spade watch and bracelet
When it comes to hot summer days, I prefer dresses to the shorts and top combo. The last thing I want to do in this heat is think about which top goes with which bottom so dresses make getting ready so much easier! This pretty and pink little number was a score from the recent Zara sale (you know I can't resist this annual sale!) and it's been great for meetings and errands around town. These are the last few photos taken in our neighbourhood before we move. I'll miss it for sure but am also looking forward to scouting out new places for blog photos! See you soon, Toronto!

A few weeks back, I had the chance to visit the beautiful MOSAIC show-home styled by Monica Hibbs at the I am YORK event. Monica recently re-branded her blog (formerly The Doctor's Closet) and has impeccable taste when it comes to design and decor. I fell in love with every corner of the townhome - from the bright and airy living room and the floral adorned dinning area to the great balcony with the DIY s'mores station. She did a great job making the place feel cozy yet spacious, and I love the feminine touch in the decor. The attractive price point of these MOSAIC homes even had me thinking about moving to the suburbs in the future!
