Runway looks with Pantene

Having spent a week backstage as a P&G Beauty Correspondent at Vancouver Fashion Week, I got the chance to learn all the secrets to the amazing runway-ready looks created with Pantene styling products and I'm happy to share them with you! I was also lucky enough to get my own hair styled by Chris Funk, the creative director for hair, as well as many other talented hairstylists volunteering at the event. There were so many inspiring looks but these picks below were my favourites!

Look #1: The Sleek back top with texture waves
One of my favourite looks was this edgy yet feminine hair created for the designer Gaby. This chic yet wearable style was created first by adding soft waves in the back with a curling iron. Then, Pantene Pro-V All-In-One Styling Balm is applied on the top of the hair to create the wet look before being secured with bobby pins in the back. Stylists then used the Flexible Hold Hairspray as a finishing spray to secure the beautiful waves.

Look #2: Voluminous French Twist
The names spells it out: a classic french twist up-do amped up with volume.  This look was created for Grandi's show and it certainly caught everyone's attention. To create the up-do, stylists used Heat Protection Spray to shield hair from heat damage before curling and teasing the strands.  Pieces are then pinned and tucked upwards. The Flexible Hold Hairspray was again used to secure the look.

Look #3: Side pinned fringe waves

This playful yet feminine look created for the Sirette show is one I will definitely be trying this spring/summer. I love the light, fringe waves parted on the side and pinned to perfection.  Tousled with fingers, the Root Reboot Dry Shampoo was used to refresh and create volume near the roots. As always, the Flexible Hold Hairspray worked its magic to hold the curls in place.
