Neutrals

Zara coat, J.Crew sweater, Gucci soho disco bag, Tory Burch flats

The past month has been tough with final exams, which is why I'm just getting the chance to post these photos from warmer, snow-free days in Toronto. I love neutral coloured purses and this Gucci soho disco bag in Rose Beige compliments just about everything in my wardrobe. Its shape and size is perfect for everyday use and the quality of leather makes it one classic purse to years to come. Now that I'm officially done with the semester, I'm ready for a relaxing winter break and hope to catch up on blogging! Wishing you all a great holiday season!

Pink & Leopard

Zara sweater, Oak+Fort leggings, Kenneth Cole shoes, Chanel 2.55 purse

As long as there's no snow on the ground, you'll find me wearing comfy flats on my walk to and from school.  I'm usually not a sneakers person but these Kenneth Coles are something else! Not only do I love the fun leopard print and calf-hair texture, these happen to be the most comfortable slip-on and go shoes. Paired with leatherette leggings and a split-side sweater, this casual look was perfect for a weekend exploring our neighborhood.

School Days

U of T Sweater, Zara skirt, Aldo booties, Kate Spade tote

It's hard to believe there are only 3 weeks left of my first semester at Rotman, which means I'm almost a quarter done my MBA. Where did time go?  It hasn't been easy adjusting to academic life at this intensity - long days and nearly all weekends are spent at school.  There are certainly good and bad days but I'm embracing it all! I have the privelege of being around some of the most talented professors, classmates and speakers in the country and am inspired to work harder everyday.

Neon & Leather

Zara blanket scarf, Dynamite jacket, Joe fresh pants, H&M hat, UGG boots, Chanel bag

Who knew a blanket scarf could keep you so warm? This Zara one with neon, grey and black is just the pop of colour I was looking for to complete an otherwise monochromic outfit.  This scarf is truly oversized so to avoid looking too bulky, I folded it in a half to form a triangle and made sure the thickest part was wrapped at the front rather than behind my neck. The knit beanie and warm Ugg boots also helped beat this cold weather we can no longer avoid in Toronto!

Pink & Plaid

Asos coat, Loft top, Chanel camellia WOC, Tory Burch flats

It's safe to say plaid is back and better than ever! This cozy wool coat with oversized plaid pattern from Asos is the perfect piece to transition from fall to winter.  The wide collars make it feel like a warm blanket rather than a coat and the colours are subtle yet playful.  To complete the look, I kept the rest of the outfit simply black, wore my pink wallet on chain which picks up the girly hues from the coat and added a bold fuchsia lip colour.

A night of Fashion at Dynamite

Last Thursday, I had a chance to mingle with Dynamite customers at their special Holiday Shopping Night at Yorkdale Mall. It was great to be able to share my top picks from their new fall/winter collection as well as styling tips to help some of the guests find that perfect outfit. The faux-fur vest I wore was definitely a must-buy and I can't stop recommending the Kate skinny pant! And yes, I started shopping for myself towards the end of the night and will be sure to share the new looks on the blog soon. If you haven't seen the new collection yet, you're missing out!

NudeStix

Once in awhile, I come across a product that I rave to friends about. A sleek little black tin came in the mail last week with a single NudeStix crayon inside. I love the simplistic idea of it being a lip + cheek crayon and soon, I discovered how smooth and silky it goes on! "Soul" is a perfect nude lip colour for me and this crayon now lives in my on-the-go makeup bag for daily wear.

NudeStix was develop by mom and daughters Jenny, Ally & Taylor. The line also includes eye colour, eye pencil, concealer, mascara and lip pen. Available at Sephora for $28 each.

Deborah Lippmann Holiday & Anniversary Collection

If you follow my blog you know how much I love Deborah Lippmann nail polish.  I'm excited to tell you about the latest limited edition sets and how amazing the colours are! The Fantastical Holiday 14' collection has the most unique blends of shimmer and glitter.  The whimsical "mood stone" effect of the Dream Weaver colour has to be my favourite.

To celebrate 15 years of great colour, Deborah also released a few limited edition Anniversary sets.  Music has always been an inspiration for her creativity so each shade is named after a song and tells a story.  I love that the sets include great classic shades as well as fun glittery ones for that accent nail!
