Going Green

Halston Heritage dress, Chanel timeless clutch, Christian Louboutin pumps, Le Chateau belt

Although I don't think anyone needs an excuse to wear a green dress, our friend's intimate and tasteful wedding was the perfect occassion to wear my new Halston Heritage find. I fell for this rich and captivating shade of emerald green the second I saw it... on the sale rack at The Bay! I can hardly believe that this is now the second Halston Heritage dress I've purchased at 60% off (first being the blue "Carrie Bradshaw" dress). We may not have Neiman, Nordstrom, or Saks here in Canada but we do have our own The Bay. My love for it has grown tremendously ever since they decided to seriously step it up in the Women's clothing and shoe department. Vancouverites, if you haven't seen “The Room” yet, you ought to check it out!

Gorgeous as always, Carolina! The green hue of your dress is so pretty, and I love how you paired such an eye-catching dress with a neutral pump. The Chanel clutch finally got to come out and play too!

Have a great weekend!

Beautiful dress! I was admiring that piece on the sale rack at the Bay, but unfortunately it was way too short for me. It looks gorgeous on you though! Love the belt too-can't believe it's from Le Chateau!

Welcome back, Carolina! Your presence truly been missed in the Vancouver fashion blogging scene :) You look absolutely gorgeous as usual- the green is definitely your colour. I, too, have scored some Halston Heritage pieces at the Bay for 65+% off- love the quality of their pieces!

Hope you've been doing well and that you get back into posting a bit more often!

Hi CFON!
I'm a religious reader of your blog, but only started recently thanks to my friend who tipped me off.
I just wanted to ask you where/who designed these grosgrain/sating shoes on the Barefoot Contessa store window display you made last year:

http://closetfullofnothing.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2010-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2011-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=38

I called (LONG DISTANCE from TORONTO) to the store because I was so smitten by them but the girl told me that she has no details of the shoes because they belonged to you!

Your dress is just gorgeous. Equally superb are the accessories, shoes and your nail polish.

Hi Joyce, I didn't have your contact info so I'm hoping you'll see this message! The satin shoes with the black bows were from Nine West... from a few years ago. Feel free to email me at closetfullofnothing@gmail.com if you have any other questions!
