Hong Kong Part I

Zara blouse, J Brand jeans, LV bag, Hermes belt, YSL arty ring

I'm back from nearly a month away. First, it was a wonderful time in Hong Kong and Bali with the boy. Days after my return, I was devastated by the news of my grandmother being hospitalized... followed by an unexpected trip to Beijing for her funeral. Without much time to adjust, I left for New York city to meet my dad. Nevertheless, here I am... back on the blogging train and starting with pictures from Hong Kong. No matter how many years away, HK remains a place where I feel at home. I spent a good chunk of my childhood living in the city and there's something about it that's luring me back in. During this visit, I realized that it's time to get off cruise control and get on with my career development. A possible move to HK? Time will tell.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother :( My condolences.

I love these pictures. They really show HK for what it is. I'm exactly the same way right now..except with a different country. It's just something about the place you once knew as home. And as always, looking fab :)!

Sorry to hear about your grandma, Carolina. I was wondering where you had gone. I'm glad that you were able to make it back to HK to be with your family for her funeral.

Anyway, glad to have you back. These are great photos and I love how you manage to look so put together even when you're on vacation!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, hope you and your family are recovering well.

Your outfit is cute. I'm visiting HK this summer, basically for the first time since the last time I went back was when I was a one year old haha. I hope I can adjust to the busy lifestyle and humid temperature!

That is really tragic to hear that your grandmother passed away so suddenly. I bet you are glad that you got to give your respect, it would've been harder for you if it happened during your trip.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Hope you had a fun trip though! It seems like you had a great time and got some great insight from this trip. HK seems like a beautiful city with lots to do! How was the weather and shopping? :) What are some must visit places?

I was thinking about moving to HK for work after university but everyone is telling me that I'll hate it. I'm going for the first time in May, so hopefully it'll be good!

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother-my heart goes out to your family.

I studied at CUHK back in 2007 for a summer and I just fell in love with HK. It was nothing like I expected, and every minute there was fantastic. I would love to go back and spend more time there again-3 months was too short.
